CD Forum presents Monique Franklin, Natasha Marin, and Shontina Vernon in CREATION PROJECT, an incubator and showcase for original works by Seattle’s most promising Black contemporary performing artists in the formative stages of their careers. The 2014 Creation Project is guest curated by acclaimed director Valerie Curtis-Newton. With the guidance of Curtis-Newton, these three exceptional artists will stretch their creativity in new directions by working outside their normal genre or by pushing the limits of their current work. From motherhood, to healing, to the hunt for real love, the work they share is refreshing and represents their unique perspectives of the world around them.
